Sorry but we cannot reply to requests for clinical advice. Please see our referral pages for advice regarding different clinical scenarios and our pages on the paediatric musculoskeletal multidisciplinary team to help you decide which professionals might be able to help you, depending on your local services.
PMM was originally created by a team based in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
In May 2022, PMM was transferred to PReS (Paediatric Rheumatology European Society) with a PMM Editorial Board to ensure that the content remains relevant and up to date.
PMM and PMM-Nursing have been developed by a collaborative team in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK led by Professor Helen Foster at Newcastle University. We have developed the content from our research with medical students, general practitioners, nursing students, nurses and specialists to find out what health care professionals need to know.
PMM and PMM-Nursing provide the essentials of information, informed through our research and we signpost to more information as needed.
We welcome feedback so please do contact us.
The project was funded originally from an unrestricted educational bursary from Pfizer. Further bursaries were obtained from BioMarin and Sobi. These companies had no role in deciding what content should be included.
