Orthopaedic Conditions
Many musculoskeletal problems in children are primarily managed by orthopaedic teams. These include a range of non-inflammatory conditions affecting the hip, knee and spine, as well as traumatic injuries such as fractures.
Orthopaedic complications may also arise as a result of inflammatory disease, leading to joint damage, deformity or abnormalities of growth, and may require specialist surgical or multidisciplinary management.
